MY STORY

I've had the privilege to study and teach God's Word for about 40 years, and to write Bible studies for children and adults for almost 25 years. In May 2001, the Lord began my teaching ministry, Blessings Mailed Ministries. In 2003, the ministry became a Virginia 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our purpose remains the same:  "To bless the Lord by sharing His Word with His people." 

For the past 25 years I’ve taught the Bible and spoken at women’s retreats. I served as Teaching Director of the Richmond South Community Bible Study (CBS). I’ve written 12 Bible studies and devotions. But the most thrilling piece of this adventure is writing for children. My trilogy began with Helping Kids Understand The Bible, followed by Helping Kids Understand The Cross. 

Now the third book in the trilogy is available – Helping Kids Understand Heaven. A huge surprise came along with this book. God has called me to begin a movement!  Our culture calls good evil and evil good.  Winsome is a movement of parents, grandparents, everyone across our country with a common goal –– Restore a culture of innocence for our children through free wholesome literature.  

 Helping Kids Understand Heaven is our first Winsome resource.  Our initial 2024 goal is to place  100 free copies of this book in places where we can reach the most children –– preschools, daycare centers, public libraries, medical and dental offices for children, and more. The Winsome Movement is committed to bringing God’s truth to all children. God is Real. Jesus is Lord. Heaven is Amazing.  There is no fear or evil in God's house.

A movement grows when one excited person tells another!  Winsome members all over the country tell others. Some of us personally visit places in our communities, show off our beautiful Winsome resource, and offer a free copy of Helping Kids Understand Heaven. Others of us contact by phone or email, gathering contact  information which we  use to mail a free copy. Every day misguided people are reading inappropriate literature to little children in our local public libraries. Some Winsome members volunteer to read Helping Kids Understand Heaven in their public libraries, sharing God’s message of innocence to little ones in their communities. Others of us donate tax-deductible funds which will enable us to go far beyond our initial 2024 goal of 100 free copies. 

Our Winsome Movement is growing daily.  We invite parents, grandparents, everyone to join us.

All donations to Blessings Mailed Ministries are tax deductible as allowed by law.
